Safety and self-defense are the two indispensable elements for proclaiming independence. Self-defense should be inculcated at a very early stage in academics to ensure overall growth as a human being as it does not only strengthen us to fight against the physical odds but at the same time also builds a person mentally strong enough to become a responsible citizen of the society. I appreciate RISD and their team for taking self-defense a way forward. We all are warriors and it's high time we recognize & replenish the warriors within us.

In today's world "Right to self -defence", is a much needed. Knowledge about self defence, gives us confidence and strength that we're not weak and have the potential to do what we want in life.

The notion of self-defence generally correlates to protection of our physical well being and personal physical space while in today's world, the true meaning is keeping the mental sanity intact for people like me who are in a stressful profession.

The 'Be A Warrior' program is a tremendously empowering experience that instills confidence, strength of mind, and fearlessness in participants. Through the training, individuals learn to defend themselves against everyday threats. My opinion for this program is that it is highly suitable for college students and should even be incorporated into the regular curriculum. Let's hope that 'Be A Warrior' will become the next big thing. Best wishes to all who participate.

Self protection course has provide me ample amount of patience, courage and confidence to deal with everyday happenings. Be it the situation to deal with a critical patient in an ICU or violent family members not at all happy with what happened to their person of interest, I felt that in the end I'm victorious.

Being a woman, I feel self-defense ultimately gives us the freedom which we long for. As it not only helps us to defend against physical challenges, but also helps to overcome our deep rooted mental & emotional barriers. It boosts our confidence, which further behaves as the stepping stone to achieve Freedom.
